Adrien Broner was arrested and booked into the Kenton County Detention Center early this morning around 1am. The professional boxer was stopped by Covington police after finding Broner behind the wheel of a Suburban that was covered with bullet holes. According to Broner, he was followed by an unknown suspect who fired multiple shots at the vehicle. 9mm casings were found at the scene of the accident. Broner was not injured. The SUV is being held by police for further investigation.
Cincinnati police did arrest Broner for a warrant from 2014. The warrant was for intoxication in a public place and disordly conduct.
He was released shortly after on a $503 bond. The 28 year old has a court date scheduled for April 27th.
