Andre Drummond to replace John Wall in 2018 NBA All-Star Game

Tuesday night, the NBA announced that Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond would replace Washington Wizards guard John Wall in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

The All-Star Game will be played Sunday, Feb. 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. (8 p.m. ET)

NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver named Drummond to replace the injured Washington Wizards guard.

It will be Drummond’s second All-Star selection, previously representing the Pistons in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.

Wall, a selected All-Star for the fifth consecutive year, was chosen this year by head coaches as an All-Star reserve.

He was then drafted to Team LeBron by captain LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers but will miss the game due to a left knee injury.

Drummond now fills that vacancy joining Team LeBron.
