Delta Airlines says the plane chartering the Oklahoma City Thunder from Minneapolis to Chicago may have hit a bird while trying to land Saturday.

Several players posted photos of the scary moment on their Twitter and Instagram pages showing a massive dent in the plane’s nose.

Despite the damage, the Boeing 757-200 landed safely without any reported injuries.

Delta Airlines spokeswoman Elizabeth Wolf told reporters that a maintenance team is evaluating the situation and the damage caused by the collision.

The Thunder is scheduled to play the Chicago Bulls Saturday evening after a 119-116 loss Friday to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
