The Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday traded Wade back to Miami in exchange for a second-round pick.
The Heat re-acquired Wade from the Cavs for a second-round pick.
The Marquette product was drafted by Miami with the fifth pick of the 2003 NBA Draft.
Wade left the Heat to sign with the Bulls, but spent only 2016-17 in Chicago before signing with Cleveland this offseason.
Wade has averaged 11.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 23.2 minutes per game this season.
Wade helped the Heat win three Championships, two with LeBron James and one with Shaq.
The trade could allow Wade to fulfill his wish to finish his career with the team he spent 13 years with.
