The Miami Heat will put their 3 game win streak on the line tonight when they go up to Cleveland to face off against the Cavaliers. The Cavs have an 8 game winning streak themselves. But the underlying storyline for tonight’s game will be the match up between old friends.

LeBron James has gone up against the Heat many times already since going back home, but tonight will mark the first time Dwyane Wade will be playing against his former team as a member of the Cavs. Let’s face it, Miami Heat fans hate the Cavs and vice versa, so when Wade made his decision that he would be signing with Cleveland, this became a game many fans circled on their calendars.

Coach Spoelstra was quoted as saying the other day that seeing D Wade in a Cavs jersey is like being in the twilight zone. He shares the sentiment of many Heat fans who are still having trouble stomaching the site. And the home fans won’t be able to see it in person until March 27th when Cleveland makes its only trip to south Florida this season.

Tonight’s game though will be sure to stir many emotions on both sides. Tip off from Quicken Loans Arena is set for 7pm.
