The Heat are on fire! Yes, I went there.

After another close finish, the Heat have extended their season long win streak to 6 games. This time with a 114-106 victory at Indiana. One of the things that have proven to be so impressive about this current win streak is the way they have done it. Now winning their past two games on the road in dramatic fashion.

Wayne Ellington was clutch again a night after hitting the game winner in Toronto. Ellington dropped a 3 pointer from over 30 feet out that gave Miami a 6 point lead with 23 seconds left to play.

This win streak though has seen a true team effort and has allowed Miami to finally come together and mesh as one unit. Tyler Johnson and Goran Dragic have been huge as well on this run. As well as the continued emergence of Bam Adebayo and Hassan Whiteside finally getting healthy.

The Heat have the next few days off now before returning home to play the Bucks. After that, they will start a challenging 5 game road trip. Good timing on their part to have improved their record to 24-17 which now only puts them two and half games behind Cleveland for the 3rd place in the East. Watch out Lebron and D-Wade.
