LaVar Ball joined the Colin Cowherd Wednesday and it was everything except uninteresting. The often outspoken father of Lonzo Ball told Cowherd that if Nike or Under armor wanted to sign his son who is “headed to the Lakers” to a deal, they will now how to pay $3 billion instead of the original $1 billion that both companies believed was too much money.
“Now that Lonzo’s headed to Los Angeles, what they should have done is give me a billion dollars and let me be on my way,” he said.
“Now you know … if they want to talk to me now, it just went up to $3 billion. Triple B’s — billion, billion, billion,” he said, adding: “That’s the only way they going to come at me. I’m already in the building. I don’t need them for nothing, as you can tell.”
The interview later became extremely intense when Colin Cowherd’s co-host Kristine Leahy said she would not personally purchase his brand because it was not marketed toward woman. Ball responded saying he doesn’t need to market his brand to Kristine Leahy or other women before refusing to even look at Leahy for the remainder of the show.
