Russell Westbrook Rumored To Join LeBron And Cavs

Left out of the speculation on where Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James may go when free agency begins this summer is the possibility that he might not go anywhere. Few are talking about James staying.

Coming from Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs is a rumor that LeBron wants to finish his career out with the Cavs and that he will try to recruit players to join him. On the short list: Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook.

But logistically Westbrook to Cleveland doesn’t make much sense. The All-Star point guard just started the first year of his five-year, $205 million contract. Meanwhile trading Westbrook would require several headaches for OKC.

And to make matters even more interesting, just imagine the reaction around the league if Golden State was able to add Anthony Davis. Yes, that’s right, Anthony Davis. According to Tim Kawakami with The Athletic, the Warriors will be looking to acquire Davis from the Pelicans.

And how about the latest report that said that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were both spotted in Miami yesterday? Add them in with LeBron??? A new big 3???

Don’t you just love free agency season in the NBA?
