University of Alabama Football Player Arrested on Marijuana Charge

Major Tennison, Crimson-Tide freshman tight end was arrested early Wednesday morning on a charge of second-degree possession of marijuana.

Tennison signed to the university in 2017, he played his first season this year, catching two passes for a total of 30 yards out of five games played.

Tennison was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail early Wednesday morning on the misdemeanor charge.

As of 10 a.m., he reportedly remains in the jail on $300 bond.
