“Is my sister getting the same treatment?” the Kim lookalike said while being removed.
While the prankster’s impressions were most likely meant to be a light-hearted joke, it was said to have touched a nerve at a politically intense time for the United States, North Korea, and South Korea.
Athletes from both Koreas entered the arena under a flag displaying a unified Korea as American Vice-President Mike Pence and Kim’s sister, Kim Yo-jong, watched the ceremony from the same VIP box.
