Who would have thought that the New York Yankees and The Minnesota Twins were going to be in a one game playoff to battle for the American League Wild Card. The Twins had a terrible season last year with 103 losses while the Yankees were rebuilding to a younger core of stars. Look at them now!

Look at the Yankees 5 years later, Aaron Judge broke the rookie home run record 52 HR. Gary Sanchez hit 33 HR while missing the month April. Severino who seems to be the ACE of the Yankees went 14-6 with 230 K’s and an ERA of 2.98.

The winner advances to the AL Division Series against the Cleveland Indians.
