Boughner in the Hot Seat?

It is obvious we see what the Panthers are doing. Well, more like not doing and that is winning.
How can this be though?
The talent is there.
Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, Vincent Trocheck (though injured), Evgenii Dadanov, Aaron Ekblad, Mike Hoffman…you get it.
Could it be the coach? Only 33 games into this season after a hot second half last year giving the Panthers the most season points in franchise history. Is it fair to do that to the Bougie Man?
There should be no passes given to coaches for slow starts and poor performance. I am sick and tired of the slow starts and the lack of grit from Boughner.
Last year we had toughness and played physical this year I don’t see it, except my guy Michael Haley.
I understand the injuries from Trocheck, Bjugstad, and Luongo have dampened the product you put out but something has to give. This team needs to play better.
Sitting 8th in the Atlantic and 2nd to last in the conference it shows no hope for the team. Fortunately, there is hope because there are 48 games remaining.
Fixes? Well most importantly in the “net-work” they are 26th in goals allowed with 118 or 3.58/game. Their Penalty kill % is 77.2 which ranks 26th in the league, though I know the injuries have played part in that.
The plus to all this is that they are ranked 3rd in Power Play % with 27.8% so I think Mr. Boughner needs to start playing some lines to draw penalties and get more Power Plays into the strategy. Though I am pretty sure that isn’t breaking news to anyone, more cliche talk than anything.
Back to Boughner, does he deserve to be in the hot seat absolutely but should he be fired? Na he is still a good coach with a championship mindset and experience. The seat should burn his ass though to make him and his team perform better so they can extend the season.
Panthers end the road trip in Chicago Sunday followed by a short break for Christmas. All the games can be heard here on
