Dolphins Escaped With Victory

Believe it or not, the Miami Dolphins won yesterday. Ironically, Ryan Tannehill had a better statistical game compared to Buffalo’s Josh Allen. By far, Allen is a much better quarterback than Tannehill so lets leave it at that. The 21-17 victory over the Bills helped keep the season and playoff hopes alive for now. The Football Gods must have been looking down on the Dolphins as Charles Clay, the ex-Dolphin, dropped a pass on the goal line at the end of the fourth quarter to give the Miami Dolphins the win.

Also, Jordan Phillips, another ex-Dolphin helped the cause in a late penalty in the fourth quarter. Sure, it was a great defensive play for a loss of 4 yards against running back Kenyan Drake, but Phillips went too far after the play for Taunting. Yes, it was a 15 yards “Unsportsmanlike” penalty, Half the distance to the goal and a Miami Dolphins first down.

In the long run, the Dolphins defense and Special Teams made the necessary plays to secure the victory. The offense needs a lot of help like play calling on 3rd down and a legitimate quarterback because a typical Ryan Tannehill game finishing 16 of 24 for 137 yards, three touchdowns with one interception does not cut it if the the bad Tannehill holds on to the ball too long and gets sacked three times. Lets not forget the missed throws and typical bad decision on interceptions.

In the end, the Miami Dolphins are 6-6…
