The news just broke that the Miami Dolphins are planning to cut DT Ndamukong Suh in an attempt at a “culture change.”

This comes just a couple of days after a tumultuous trade of Jarvis Landry to the Browns where the Phins only got a 4th round pick this year and a 7th round pick next year in return. Suh is due to make $26 million this season and the move would obviously save Miami a ton of money. But the question has to be asked now, are the Dolphins starting over?

If this move actually does happen, Adam Gase would be responsible for the trades of Jarvis Landry, Jay Ajayi, and now the cutting of Suh. I’m just starting to wonder if the culture he is trying to create involves winning?

Now I am not totally opposed to this move if they do cut Suh, he is making way too much money for what he has put out on the field. But do we really have to cut him? Maybe restructure the contract? Try to get some type of trade for him so you’re not empty handed at the end of this? There has to be a better solution than just cutting a guy and taking your losses.

But then again, that’s what the Dolphins have been best at these days, taking losses.
