Eli To Start Vs Cowboys

Eli Manning will take the field as the starting QB once again when the Giants take on the Cowboys this week. This come after McAdoos firing and the promotion of Interim Head Coach to Steve Spagnuolo. Spagnuolo makes the move after being the Giants Defensive coordinator since 2015.

McAdoo benched Manning this past week in favor of Geno Smith, which ended his streak of 210 consecutive regular season games started. That wasn’t the only factor to lead to McAdoo’s firing. He waited too long to give up play-calling duties, ran a fairly predictable offense, was inconsistent in how he doled out player discipline and waited too long to begin addressing players individually when they had concerns.

Never the less this will be a big game for Eli to prove to everyone he’s not the player he was portrayed to be and still deserves to be this teams leader. It is still worth noting the Eli’s wide receiving core is depleted.
