This Week’s Games:

Benjamin at Gulliver Prep

Stephen Diener: Benjamin

Elliot “EL” Brownstien: Benjamin

Kokell: Benjamin

“Benjamin is kicking butt and taking names. Haven’t allowed more than a touchdown a game and scoring over 30pts per game.” -EL

Cardinal Newman at Pahokee

Diener: Pahokee

EL: Pahokee

Kokell:  Pahokee

“Pahoke has had a rough season in the wins and loss column but I think everything clicks on Friday.” -EL

“Worried I may regret picking against Newman again this week.” -Kokell

“The Blue Devils are tough to beat at home and the Crusaders have a notoriously tough time playing in the muck”- Diener

Forest Hill at Royal Palm

Diener: Forest Hill

EL: Forest Hill

Kokell: Forest Hill

“You can count me picking The Hill for the next few weeks. They win big again and have a real shot at being 6-0 heading into Dwyer on 10/12”-Kokell

“Get the running clock ready. RPB just doesn’t have the depth to stay in this one.” -EL

Olympic Heights at West Boca

Diener: West Boca

EL: Olympic Heights

Kokell: Olympic Heights

“Oh how things have changed since West Boca put up 80 on Heights. Coming off a tough loss to Newman, Heights needs a statement win.” -Kokell

Palm Beach Gardens at Seminole Ridge

Diener: Palm Beach Gardens

EL: Palm Beach Gardens

Kokell: Palm Beach Gardens

“Gardens, in a hard fought game that could be one of the best of the week.” -Diener

“Looks like another close game decided late for Gardens. They hold on here 28-24” -Kokell

“Gardens has ran over their opponents with a +33 avg point margin. Might be another running clock game”- EL

Palm Beach Lakes at Dwyer

Diener: Dwyer

EL: Dwyer

Kokell: Dwyer

“Lakes will put up a fight but Dwyer will have too much depth and pull away in the 2nd half.”- Kokell

“Another huge game for Dwyer. Gio is ready to lead this team.” -Diener

Park Vista at Lake Worth

Diener: Lake Worth

EL: Park Vista

Kokell: Park Vista

“Vista is a really good team with a tough schedule. They will pick up a win over an improving Lake Worth squad.” -Kokell

Santaluces at John I. Leonard

Diener: Santaluces

EL: Santaluces

Kokell:  John I Leonard

“I’m buying what coach Chattin is selling and picking the Lancers in the upset!” -Kokell

“Match-up of teams that have limited scoring potential and more L’s than W’s. I’ll give this one to Santaluces” -EL

Spanish River at Boca Raton

Diener: Boca Raton

EL: Boca Raton

Kokell: Boca Raton

“Too much Michael Pratt this week. Predicting 300 in the air and a Bobcats blowout.” -Kokell

Wellington at Palm Beach Central

Diener: Wellington

EL: Palm Beach Central

Kokell:  Wellington

“The only big win Wellington has had was a 38-0 win over a bad Royal Palm team. They lost to Vero 46-0 and squeezed one through 14-8 against Park Vista. Central has had a fire since loss to Atlantic.”- EL

“Game of the week! This one is personal. Special players step up in special games. Mark Anthony Richards carries Wellington to a hard fought victory.” -Kokell

Boca Christian at Inlet Grove

Diener: Inlet Grove

EL: Inlet Grove

Kokell: Inlet Grove

“Hurricane season.” -Kokell

Glades Day at St. Andrews

Diener: Glades Day

EL: St. Andrews

Kokell: Glades Day

The King’s Academy at Miami-LaSalle

Diener: LaSalle

EL: TKA

Kokell: TKA

“They score and more. Averaging 54.6 pts/game while allowing 13.6 pts/game makes this an easy choice.” -EL

“Kings is better than people give them credit for, but LaSalle takes this one at home.”

Monsignor Pace at American Heritage (Delray)

Diener: American Heritage

EL: American Heritage

Kokell: American Heritage

“This will be a hard fought battle between two well coached teams” -kokell

“This is going to be a shootout as both teams like to win. I give the edge to American Heritage as their defense seems a bit better.” EL

Saint John Paul at Marathon

Diener: Saint John Paul

EL: Marathon

Kokell: Marathon

“John Paul II only averages 9 pts/game. That won’t win games, so Marathon will take this one.” -EL

“Can’t go against my alma mater.” -Diener

Suncoast at Pompano Beach

Diener: Pompano

EL: Suncoast

Kokell: Suncoast

“Suncoast picked up their first win last week. this week they do it in a more convincing fashion. 28-7 Chargers”. -Kokell

“Both teams don’t seem to like scoring. Pompano hasn’t scored in the last 2 games. After barely able to get a win over a weak Spanish River team last week,  Suncoast shows they can at least win against bad teams.” -EL

Bayside at Jensen Beach

Diener: Jensen Beach

EL: Bayside

Kokell: Jensen Beach

“Jensen Beach’s Defensive Coordinator is mean and likes to yell at me. In my most unprofessional prediction, I’tll take the Bears.” -EL

Treasure Coast at Martin County

Diener: Martin County

EL: Treasure Coast

Kokell: Treasure Coast

“The Tigers will struggle against unbalanced looks that Treasure Coast brings.” -Kokell

“Can’t go against a team that defeated a power house like Cocoa and a good Lake Wales team. While Martin County’s win wasn’t a fluke, it certainly wasn’t a statement win.”-EL

Fort Pierce Westwood @ South Fork

Diener: South Fork

EL: Fort Pierce Westwood

Kokell: Fort Pierce Westwood

“This is my Treasure Coast Game of the Week. Both teams are still trying to find their identity as a team but with Westwood’s Coy Gray and Willie Lewis starting to click into full gear, expect a blowout win.” -EL

Jupiter Christian at Berean Christian (Wellington)

Diener: Jupiter Christian

EL: Jupiter Christian

Kokell: Jupiter Christian

“Berean Christian lost last week 78-0 to Holy Trinity and Jupiter Christian is not shy of blowing out teams as they have beaten their opponents 41-21, 46-14 and 50-6.” -EL
“Gotta go with Jupiter Christian on this one. ” -Diener
