Odd week in South Florida sports

Sports in South Florida had a weird week.
The Heat and Panthers both lost at home to the worst teams in their league.
But then the Heat beat the Golden State Warriors. Weird.
The Panthers, who have 17 games left, also seem to be making an early exit from a playoff chase. Weird since they normally make a run towards the end of the season falling just short.
South Florida sports fans need something positive to happen soon.
Would the answer be the Heat sneaking into to the playoffs, or would it be the Heat fading away to get a better draft pick?
The Miami Dolphins could make some noise in the NFL draft, but that is not until the end of April.
Or maybe the Marlins can save us.
