Panthers lose best inaugural team title

For 25 years the Panthers have been subject to the playoffs minimally.
Only a few things come to mind to brag about when it comes to the Panthers, and that is killing a rat,Eastern Conference Championship, Tro-Chex Mix, and of course Most win by an expansion team.
Unfortunately the Panthers lost one of those feats, and it was the latter.

Honestly it hurts.
Not just because of what it means to the franchise, who is often labeled as a non-hockey town, but how it went down.
Congrats to the Vegas Golden Knights as they make a run for best record in all of the NHL with only 31 games left in the season.
But you must ask yourself “Who is the coach of Vegas Golden Knights?”, That’s right, Gerard Gallant.
He was only with the franchise for 2 years but helped push the Panthers to a franchise record best and playoff spot then last season was fired only 22 games into the 2016-17 season.
Don’t get me wrong I like what coach Bob Boughner is doing but Gallant was doing well and the Panthers wouldn’t be in a reset position if it wasnt for that firing.

The banner will probably stay up as it should but no more bragging rights about being the best new team in the league.
