Russell Wilson Gives Seahawks Midnight Deadline, could the Dolphins be players?

Just like the IRS, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson wants his business taken care of by midnight tonight.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Wilson has given the Seahawks until midnight tonight to get a contract extension done, and won’t sign off on a new deal after today.
Wilson is headed into the final year of his contract but the Seahawks could control his rights with the franchise tag if necessary. He’s currently only the 12th-highest paid QB in the NFL despite reaching the Pro Bowl in 5 of his 7 seasons.

Would Wilson sit out the season if the Seahawks don’t make an offer? Do you think the franchise tag is good or bad for the NFL?
