Someone Was Playing ‘Mario Kart’ On The Kauffman Stadium Video Screen

On Tuesday, TV crews filming overhead footage of Arrowhead Stadium for Saturday’s Chiefs game when they noticed something unusual next door – someone was playing Mario Kart on the 105-foot-tall Kauffman Stadium video screen. Turns out it was part of a charity fundraiser by Royals, who will be auctioning off a ‘Crown Vision Video Game Party’ later this year. Meanwhile, Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield was ready to get in on the action, tweeting out “Dibs on Yoshi”.
