The Yankees and Mets enter this weekend’s Subway Series at Citi Field on two very different paths.

The Yankees are steamrolling their way through their opponents, while the Mets are struggling just to put some runs across the plate.

Here’s a look at this weekend’s pitching matchups:

Time: 7:10 p.m.; TV: YES, SNY

Masahiro Tanaka (7-2, 4.79) vs. Jacob deGrom (4-0, 1.49)

DeGrom is 1-1 with a 0.64 ERA vs. Yankees at Citi Field.

Time: 7:15 p.m.; TV: FOX

Domingo German (0-4, 5.44) vs. Steven Matz (2-4, 3.42)

Time: 8 p.m.; TV: ESPN

Luis Severino (9-1, 2.20) vs. Noah Syndergaard (4-1, 3.06)

Mets’ plan is to have Syndergaard return from DL for this game.

The Yankees are 31-9 since starting the season 9-9, while the Mets have fallen off dramatically after starting off the season 11-1. They are now 27-32.

The Yankees should be able to take care of business in this series, but sometimes it’s those bad teams that give them trouble. Especially a cross-town rival. Here’s to hoping it at least doesn’t rain.
