The Chiefs Have Won Every Coin Toss So Far

The Chiefs have one of the best records in the NFL at 8-1, but their record on coin flips is even better – a perfect 9-0. Yes, the Chiefs have managed to win every single coin flip so far this season.  The chance of doing that nine times in a row is 1 in 512. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes insists there’s no secret coin flip strategy at play – he was the team captains just “go up there and whoever wants to call it, calls it”. As for what the Chiefs have done with all those coin flips – head coach Andy Reid has opted to defer the opening kickoff every time.
