Say hello to your newest Dolphins quarterback, Josh Rosen.

Yes, that’s right, the Miami Dolphins, who were said to be in “tank for Tua” mode, have just traded for what they hope will be their franchise QB. And they didn’t have to give up too much to do it.

Miami traded their 2nd round pick, which turned out to be the 62nd overall pick in the draft and their 2020 5th round pick, to Arizona in return for Rosen. A pretty fair trade if you ask me, considering the fact Rosen was picked 10th overall just last year.

Another positive here, even if Rosen doesn’t pan out, the Phins still have the option of looking at someone like Clemson QB, Trevor Lawrence, in the 2021 draft.

Kudos to Chris Grier and Brian Flores for making this move. We could end up looking back on this and saying this draft is where things changed for Miami with their first round pick of Christian Wilkins and now the trade for Josh Rosen.
