If you’re interested in buying tickets for the 50/50 charity raffle at Dolphin’s home games this upcoming season, forget using cash from your wallet. There’s now a new way to pay.
On Thursday, the Litecoin Foundation announced that they’ve partnered with the NFL team to become their “official cryptocurrency.”
“This collaboration propels Litecoin in front of an audience of millions of people around the world at a time where adoption of cryptocurrencies continues to gain momentum and the ecosystem is able to support real-world use cases in ways previously not possible,” says its creator and managing director, Charlie Lee.
This isn’t Litecoin’s first foray into the world of sports. Last December they teamed up with the UFC to place their logo inside the Octagon.
