Twins Grand Slam Yankees

On a day everyone will remember in history, the Yankees will not forget the Grand Slam from Minnesota’s Joe Mauer that put the game out of reach in the 4th inning.┬áSonny Gray’s 3-inning outing did set the tone for the Yankees but the middle relief struggled against the Twins in 10-5 loss.┬áThe Yankees have 17 games to play with 9 games behind the Red Sox and a 2 game lead over the A’s for the top Wild-Card spot. The clubhouse seems to be frustrated and disappointed going into the last month of baseball.

One bright spot was Didi Gregorius, who hit a Grand Slam in the 6th inning to make it 10-5. That gave Didi 23 Home Runs, just 2 shy of his career high set last year. What about Stanton? Well, we will keep you posted once his power comes back.
