It’s Wednesday, February 6.
That’s normally how I would start my show. But there isn’t one for the rest of the week.
Who needs five days to discuss and hear about that Super Bowl we all saw on Sunday?
Not me. Not anyone in my audience.
So, instead, I wanted to take you all along for a ride.
Today we’re in Colombia. Bienvenido.
Currently in Bogota, headed to San Andres Island through Friday night.
You guys are all going to love it. To make sure you’re on this trip with me, follow along on my Instagram feed.
Meanwhile, what I am missing in South Florida? Nothing at all. That’s because, as you probably know, I’m always on Twitter. Always keeping up with the latest. Still accepting phone calls trying to get all of you the next Slater Scoop.
Today is National Signing Day. It’s still a big day, but not as big as it used to be. With early signing day now a thing, it takes away from what used to be a really big day.
The NBA trade deadline is this week. I don’t expect the Miami Heat to do anything big. Maybe a small move or two. Unfortunately for Heat fans, with this team’s roster, it’s tough to move major parts around.
Could this be the week that the Marlins finally decide to play “let’s make a trade?”
I’ll be keeping my phone on and my eyes open to see if J.T. Realmuto is a former Marlins player before the team’s FanFest on Saturday.
Alright. It’s time to catch our flight to the island.
