Yankees Fall To Mets But Take Series

Hometown boy from Jersey and former New York Yankee Todd Frazier beat his former team on offense and defense. Todd Frazier hit the go ahead two-run and a game ending double play on a great defensive play. Mets Pitcher Seth Lugo pitched 6 scoreless innings and the bullpen shut down the Yankees 2-0. Actually, the Mets are the only team to shut out the Yankees this year.

The Yankees took the weekend Subway Series against the Mets. Yankees Ace Luis Severino took the loss going 5 innings and giving up 5 hits on 2 runs, 2 walks, and 7 K’s.
